Let the park be one chapter of the trip. The surrounding destination offers ways to spend more time locally without turning every hour into another attraction.
Korenica as a starting point
Use Korenica to ask for local advice, organise a meal and plan the next day. The tourism board is based at Trg sv. Jurja 19. Its current activities directory is a better starting point for availability than an undated list of things to do.
Heritage and an unhurried afternoon
The board lists the Špoljarić watermill in Korana and the Glagolitic trail among local experiences. Check the individual listing and arrange visits where required. Choose one stop and give it time, rather than adding several detours after a full park day.
Walking and cycling outside the lake circuit
The directory includes Mrsinj Grad hiking and local cycling routes. These are separate outings requiring their own route planning, equipment and condition checks. They are not extensions of the wooden lake paths; cycling restrictions in the national park still apply.
A three-day outline
